Have you seen the website that shows you "sugar stacks" of your favorite foods? Made me cringe when I saw it.
We don't do soft drinks in our house, but I bit the bullet and peeked at a few of my weaknesses [seen below] to see how they "stacked up."
Can someone yell out "endocrine system shut-down alert"?!?
And I was shocked to see how much sugar is in things we give our kids, or eat ourselves, while thinking we're being healthy.
You can look up almost any food or drink on their site.
To make matters worse, I had to go and read this article which compares sugar's addictive qualities to heroin. Yowza!
