When the weather warms up and spring is in full force, I often daydream about what my imaginary garden shed would look like. Guess I'd need a yard to have one. Well, I {kind of} have a yard, but it's sitting by itself in Georgia, waiting for someone to love it. So in case you're wondering what I imagine my dream garden shed to look like, these images are several ideas.
Of course, all of this is strictly fantasy as I have dying flowers halfway placed in pots sitting on my front porch. It seems the only thing that gets attention around here would be living beings that can make a noise or say, "mom, I'm hungry!"
Here's a fun and dainty little space. I could deal.
Ah, love the textures and simplicity of this small space nestled among the trees.
I call those fluffy flowers. The best kind ever.
What do I love? It's pretty simple, really. Classic lines on a small structure, luscious green grass, a tidy but not too fussy little garden, plenty of flowers and a cozy spot for offspring to play. Am I asking too much?
But the real daydreaming starts when I picture the inside. This particular room is what I would consider to be a dreamy, fun filled space. Oh wait, there's no room in here to pot plants. How about instead just sipping an ice-cold drink while enjoying the view of the flower garden and sounds of chirping birds? Good plan.
Daydreaming can lead you to just about anywhere. Here's a little nook inside a home in Nova Scotia overlooking a charming potting shed.
A better view of the potting shed.
Can't blame a girl for imagining such fun things. Guess it's cheaper than going out and buying a pair of shoes.
