Beautiful inspiration this morning! If only your blog served Apple Crisp! :-)
I think I'm going to take some time to let my kiddos jump in the leaves- really smash around, get all kinds of leafy and live it up. They are ALL on the ground now and as soon as it dries up it's going to be a leafy hay day. Or a Leaf Day. Yes. That's it. :-)

i completely agree - lets enjoy the fall and look forward to thanksgiving before we race on to christmas.
such a fantastic skirt! can you share the source? :)

Melissa

I have resisted commenting on your blog (since I don't know you) but I can no longer resist...your blog is a ray of sunshine into my day! :-) Your love and creativity shine through so brightly. Thank you for sharing little pieces of your life with others-- such a gift and blessing!

My seven year old daughter and I were on our way home the other day, and she noticed some stores had Christmas displays and lights were even going up outdoors. She asked me if people knew they were forgetting about a very special holiday - Thanksgiving. It's a shame not everyone can think like a seven year old. :) It was also a good remider for me to live in the moment.

Fall is definitely my favorite time of year - September through November is simply gorgeous here. Our weather this week has hovered around 60 (warm for us!) and we've been outside enjoying every second of. Once the cold comes we're inside for a loooong time!

I just saved at least half of those photos. I've been in the fall mood, so I think I've done a pretty good job savoring it so far. still have a craving for some apple cider doughnuts, so maybe I'll attempt those soon.

Living in San Diego we have to travel a bit to see autumn leaves. Nonetheless, I like this season and look forward to cooler evenings and preparations for Thanksgiving. We used to decorate for Christmas on the 24th of December and it became a magical, festive event. I think I will go back to that...

Joanne

Hi! Just a reminder that I leave for Africa and Seychelles this Thursday for 2.5 weeks and will check back in on your blog in December. Wish me luck!

Paige

Love the photos and descriptors you picked for Fall. Thanks for sharing!

Pierre

Love your fall style and pics. Enjoying the changing seasons IS one of the great pleasures of life. I love experiencing your presentations and visuals. That is why I am such a fan of the most beautiful Simply Seleta.

we are going to my parents house for thanksgiving, and i am going to have her make me like 5 loaves of pumpkin chocolate-chip bread. thats probably my favorite part about fall :]

Kris Connell

Love the cozy fall images. One of them has an item I continue to search for...the Le Creuset light blue teapot (not Caribbean like they're selling in the stores now). On the wish list!

Janean

heart the photo choices! sweet blog.

Pink Wallpaper

that first image is my very favorite - graphic, great color and contrast, wonderful composition. And above all, CUTE shoes!

Seleta,Love the fall pictures, they made me feel like lighting the fireplace , lighting candles and putting on some spiced cider and pumpkin bread, Hmmmmm that sounds so good.I am with you I refuse to go from Halloween to Christmas, although I will have to admit shopping a little but no decor around here yet, I am still planning my table and food for TDAY!!! Hugs Kathysue

LOVE fall and the colors it brings! favorite fall things are long sleeves, layers, warm colors, and spending time with family and fRIenDs is the best. and thanksgiving food ROCKS, too {all for a casserole}. need to plan our feast ASAP:)

I love to take one season at a time. There is a radio station that began playing Christmas music on Nov 1st. How tacky!

Oh and to answer your ? Seleta, make cobblers, walk in the wooded paths, and enjoy the colors, senses, and sweater weather! Paint art in autumn colors as well!

Terresa Wellborn

Those orange & white plates are gorgeous. Forget eating off them, they look good enough to eat!

I'm enjoying the rest of the fall by picnicing on our new lush backyard grass. Also, going to the park in shorts (we live in the desert where this is common in November), and snuggling with my four kids.

Susan

Oh my goodness what a yummy yummy post Seleta! If that doesn't put you in an Autumn mood nothing will! :)

Carolyn

Um....it would be nice if it was still fall here. (Austria) It lasted about 2 weeks! We've already had some snow and my wonderful red, yellow and orange trees are beginning to kick the bucket! Jealous.

Shauna

I must admit, after Halloween I start thinking Christmas. Though I don't think any decorations should be up before Nov 11. But our Thanksgiving is in October so we don't have another holiday to tied us over until December! =o)

Laura

Fall is my favorite! I love that skirt in the first pic on your post too. Enjoy!

carlee

Such gorgeous images. I think our Fall is almost over here in Boston...the leaves have almost all fell off the trees. Not ready for winter yet!
